My artistic interest is also largely a geographical one, following a degree in Human Geography before pursuing my interests in art.

I am currently in my Third year of a Fine Art Honours degree at the Scarborough School of Art.

I explore through painting the relationship that I hold with my environment, whether local, or a place visited. It is the particular way in which I experience a place that I than look to translate into an artistic language on canvas.

I predominately paint with oil onto raw canvas that is primed with rabbit skin glue, sometimes with glitter added to lift the background of the image. I then layer up aspects of the landscape, according to how I see that view.

I also paint work that is to a specification for individual commissions.
Personal tastes and interior designs often require a bespoke painting that fits to the rest of a room or house. This can be achieved easily at an affordable price, but still with a resulting painting that is original oil or other medium on a canvas.
